Our Story

It all started with our founder Francis

The name Afranco originates from a childhood nickname linked to the founder’s name “Francis” and also reflects his African culture and identity.

 

Francis’s passion for cooking emanated from his parents background as restaurateurs running their restaurant ‘Crab House’ in Ghana.

 

Francis’s early exposure to cooking, at a professional level, and the importance of excellent-customer service his parents instilled in him, shaped Francis’s skills and ambition.

 

The name Afranco represents both Francis’s personal heritage and the type of cuisine Afranco Catering Services Ltd delivers: high-end African and Continental food appealing to both cultural communities and wider audiences.

For Francis it is not just about food tasting good but it must look appetizing too. Francis describes this as 'Culinary Artistry'.
